Scaling a crypto casino across LATAM with push and popunder
A new operator needed first-time depositors in three markets where CPMs were climbing. We rebuilt the funnel around FTD quality instead of registration volume.
Client: Crypto casino (confidential)
The challenge
The advertiser arrived with a broad campaign running in thirteen markets, a single creative and no event-level optimisation. Registrations looked healthy; deposits did not follow. Cost per FTD was more than double the target and the team had no way to tell which sources were responsible.
The approach
We cut the campaign to three markets, wired S2S postbacks to the operator's first-deposit event, and rebuilt creative around three angles: instant withdrawal, local payment methods and a concrete bonus. Push and popunder were split into separate campaigns so budget could move between them daily. Sources that produced registrations without deposits were blacklisted within 48 hours.
What we would do differently
No campaign is perfect. In this account we would start source-level cuts one week earlier and ship local-language creative for the second-largest GEO before scaling spend. Both would have shortened the path to the target cost per event.
The difference was reporting we could act on. We finally knew which source paid and which one just looked busy.
Let’s build your version of this.
We will map the offer to the formats and sources most likely to produce your target event.
